Text messaging
We send two kinds of text messages, and they work differently.
Messages about your job. If you give us your mobile number when you request or book a service, we may text you about that work — appointment confirmations, arrival windows, a message when the technician is on the way, and questions about access to your property.
Marketing texts. We only send promotional texts to people who have specifically asked for them by checking the text-message box on one of our forms. Checking that box is never required to book a job or to buy anything.
You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP to any message. Replying STOP stops all texts from us at that number, including messages about your job; reply START to turn them back on. You can also tell us in any other reasonable way — by email, by phone, or by telling a technician — and we will honor that request.
We do not share your mobile number. No mobile information or text-message consent is shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers to deliver messages on our behalf, and they may only use that information to deliver them. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone for marketing purposes.
