With the growing concerns about indoor air quality, most homeowners wants to get their air ducts cleaned. But unless ducts are really dirty, there’s no reason to clean them. The EPA takes a similar stance on the issue.

- Bacterial Growth/ Mold: If there is visible Bacterial growth inside the ductwork, or you see black spots on your air duct covers, your air ducts should be cleaned.
- Animals: When you see evidence of animal infestation or nesting in your air ducts. When you notice debris, pet hair, or other contaminants.
- Allergies: If anyone in your household is suffering from allergy-related illness, you may want to consider having your air ducts cleaned.
